The meeting was called to order with The Pledge of Allegiance and Jerry Ritchey opened with prayer.
In attendance were George Wielandt, Mike Meyer, Charles Huegel, Rick Armburger, Amy Coe, Melvin Coe, Jessie Lauer, Paula
Counselman, and Sam Breene.

Guest Speaker- Melvin suggested an annual “Easter Island” display – council asked that he create a committee, get a plan, and
come back to discuss. Jessie asked if Aqua was responsible for the borough drains – in response, council stated that the borough is
responsible. Paula asked if any interest on the library – in response, none yet. Barb & Bonnie will organize another day to have the
library open to public. (Saturday 10-3) Commissioner Breene was in attendance to get an update on our community and was
available for questions. George explained his groundwater situation with council. In his attempt to repair it, he ran into issues that
need to be addressed by the sewage agency to move forward with the issue.

New Business discussed:
Council will advertise in search of 2 people for plowing – Jeff Wonderling to start mowing after May 15 th
Dangerous structures to be demolished – Barb made motion – John 2nd – All in favor
Raise in wage discussion – council to inquire state specifics, minimum wage dates and discuss
In the vote to change the livestock ordinance and the request for ducks by Charles, the council presented their research
and discussion. The research was read out loud and presented while Charles recorded. The council voted NO with 3
votes NO and 2 undecideds.
Brenda presented a letter from Ashleigh Phillips requesting permission to install an American flag at the ball field for the
Pledge of Allegiance that is spoken prior to each game. Council agreed – John made motion, Barb 2nd – All in favor

Old Business discussed:
Ditching and catch basins- work to be finished
Ordinances and code enforcement will move forward
