The meeting was called to order with The Pledge of Allegiance and Jerry Ritchey opened with prayer
In attendance were Mike Meyer, Charles Huegel, Michael Fay and Erin Fay – Brenda and Jerry attended via phone – Bonnie was not in attendance
Guest Speaker – Michael and Erin were inquiring on the road and street repairs – John stated that it is waiting on the weather and all involved are pushing for this to move forward and be completed. Mike stated that Rick would not be mowing and suggested a replacement by Jeff Wonderling – John made motion to hire – Barb 2nd – passed “All in favor” – Mike mentioned a raise in wages since it has been so many years – An executive meeting will be called to discuss 2026 projects, raise for maintenance wages, livestock ordinance amendment, and letters for dangerous structures

New Business discussed:
- Regina sent an email to submit to Borough Council for Council’s opinion as to whether the dangerous structure can be repaired or if it should be demolished, in accordance with Section 5 Investigation Procedure of the Dangerous Structures Ordinance. John made motion to approve that both be demolished – Barb 2nd – passed with “All in favor”
- DGLVR grant project will include an upcoming meeting with Hilary and the DEP to determine the project specs
Old Business discussed:
- issues with hillside – moving forward with project and seeking grant aid
- Sewage complaint- the resident will need to repair but there will still be runoff. Although, will not be considered gray water due to filtration
- Ditching and catch basins- pushed due to weather
- Livestock ordinance – The solicitor is requesting specifics for amendment if the council votes to move forward – other properties should be checked for violations

- Streets – sweeping completed
- Equipment – broom was repaired
- Parks and Recreation – porta potty is back
- Fire Department – Raffle June 20th
- Sewage and Drainage
- Pioneer Cemetery – Mike and Bentley cut some fallen branches on Dottie’s property

Other Public Comment – Kid’s fishing day is May 2nd – Borough will close the street. Clean up day is May 8th
The library has been shown – Barb suggested that council organize a time and day(s) to open to the public to give away books – John made motion, Brenda 2nd – passed with “All in favor”
